Why it is not recommended to disassemble and clean the inside of the water pump？

The water pump is not recommended for disassembly. Instead, soak it every 2 weeks:

1. Unplug the pump.

2. Soak in 1:1 vinegar and water for 1 hour.

3. Rinse thoroughly and dry before use.

4. Use soft or filtered water for better performance.

What should I do if I find that the water is running low or not coming out?

Check that the impeller is clean, the tank has enough water, and the outlet is properly aligned and installed.

Are there any cleaning recommendations before first time use?

To ensure better use, we recommend that you rinse thoroughly with boiled water before first time use.

What is the on/off button on the power cord for?

This button only serves to turn the blue light on/off.

Is this pet fountain dishwasher safe?

Yes, and please note that the pump, filter and sponge parts should be removed.
